Erica Roach is a founding Partner of ERK Financial Consultants serving for profit, not for profit, and individual financial needs and requirements. Prior to starting her firm, she served as a senior accountant and senior auditor, including serving as an operating manager. In addition, she has consulted with a numer of firms, most recently as Post Award Administrator for Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.
Her professional experience includes a diverse background in costing and financial analysis, grants administration, regulatory compliance, manufacturing and business process development, and the design and implementation of business information systems. Erica is an expert in financial modeling, cost benefit analysis, and development of accounting policies and procedures, including those related to annual closing and A133 reporting requirements.
She has taught workshops on the use of accounting systems, basic principles of accounting, and understanding of procurement cycles.
Erica graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from the Leventhal School of Accounting at the University of Souther California (USC) and is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Council of University Research Administrators, the Society of Research Administrators, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, the Los Angeles Rotary Club, and the USC Alumni Association.
